No Discrimination Issues

Employment discrimination happens when some people are treated differently at work because of their gender, race, national origin, religion, caste, class, age, disability, marital status, sexual orientation, political affiliation or union membership amongst other factors.

Employment discrimination includes being given a better chance of being hired, promoted or trained, or being paid or retrenched differently because of the group a worker belongs to. We believe that all workers should be treated equally, regardless of these factors.graphic: sorters
