This Pesticide Risk Reduction e-Programme aims to:

* Develop capacity within union in Africa/ Asia,
* Deal with pesticide issues including handling, spraying or supplying pesticides
* Improve control of the risks of pesticides - both regarding hazards to worker members, and impacts to the environment.
* Move to a more sustainable use of pesticides

This online pesticides risk reduction programme will help IUF members, their representatives and the officers in the IUF. The IUF will set up a series of learning opportunities using these web based materials for the different layers in the union - full-time officers, local representatives and members. All the materials developed can easily be copied to CD to hard hard copy versions.

GlobaGAP is an international standard intended to promte health and safety standards in agricultural production.You can use the standard to improve susatianable use of pesticides.

Participants will enter their responses into an online database that can be  read on the other side of the world.
