2.6 Identify sources of guidance on good practice standards in agriculture/horticulture:

Issues

Commonsense is all very well. But it usually pays to find out from other people's experience and source of guidance, based on best practices.

Good Practice Standards provide greater protection than that provided by the law alone.

Tasks

1. Identify government sources

2. Contact trade/trade union sources

3. Assess others

4. Use these source and apply to the Risk Assessment (Part 1: 1.12.2) , Controlling Risk (Part 2: 1.2 2.3 ), and Communication (Part 3: 2,4 & 2.5)

Mark Scheme

Demonstrate contact with a range of sources, on and offline.
