Level 3 Certificate in Controlling Risks to Health and Safety (in Agriculture/Horticulture) Awarded by LANTRA & NPTC (C&G) The level 3 certificate has two units: Unit 1: Principles of controlling risks to health and safety (knowledge) Unit 2: Principles of controlling risks to health and safety (risk assessments) Programme We are building online Programme to support learners achieve this Certificate. We first work out the tasks that need to be completed to demonstrate compliance with the requirements of the learning outcomes. The project sets out the tasks to be carried out in three parts - hazards & risk, communications and controlling risk. A mark scheme, with weighting, helps both candidates and assessors have a clear idea of what is required. And there is a self assessment quiz just to check! Here is an example of how each of the learning outcomes can be broken down to tasks that can be checked.
